    Punt Chart

Make sure you have a stop watch to measure hang time, and a football field with lines to measure distance.

Hang time - Push start when your foot hits the ball. Push stop when the ball hits the ground. Allow each punt to hit the ground. Do not catch the ball. It is important to be as accurate as possible with the time.

    Round to the nearest tenth

    Examples: [3.45, record 3.5] [4.14, record 4.1]

Distance - Stand on the 35 yard line. Punt towards the far endzone. Measure the distance from midfield to where the ball hits the ground first (This accounts for the snap). The line of scrimmage to where the ball hits the ground is the accurate measurement of distance.

    Examples:

Ball hits at the 15 yard line, record (35) for Distance.
Ball hits at the 20 yard line, record (30) for Distance.
